Hall has led a distinguished career in various positions as an owner, consultant and employee with several small- to medium-sized businesses, as well as a director and officer of non-profits focused on meeting the needs of underserved and emerging entrepreneurs. He has developed expertise in capitalization, financial management and long-term planning for small, owner-operated businesses.

Founder and principal architect of NextStage, a non-profit development organization, focused on providing technical assistance and access to capital to new, early-stage and operating entrepreneurs. In this role, duties include:
- Manage contracts and relationships with NextStage’s City, County and State partners.
- Provide direct assistance to entrepreneurs; manage and support NextStage’s network of employee and contract service providers.
- Build and manage the NextStage lending portfolio, including capital acquisition, lending policy development, direct underwriting and approval, and portfolio risk management.
- Oversee and manage the organization’s core compliance and administrative functions, including accounting, audit, and HR.

2006-2020
Responsible for the financial management and audit compliance of a non-profit CDFI member organization. CFO duties include oversight of the general ledger, development of budgets, cash flow projection and management and financial reporting to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, HR functions, hiring and payroll.
