Stillwater business is first in state to earn three-star blue standard

Toxyfree, a sustainable retail store in downtown Stillwater selling toxin-free and plastic-free products, is the first toy company in Minnesota to receive Three-Star Blue Verification from Oceanic Global, a cross-industry standard that measures positive global impact.
Being at the headwaters of the Mississippi, the ocean starts here. Over 70% of our earth is ocean, and every 60 seconds a truckload of plastic enters it, according to Greenpeace. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change found that 90% of coral reefs are projected to die by 2025.
