Forest Lake grad brews coffee dream into reality

Kayla Mildon, a 2007 Forest Lake grad, has had the dream of selling coffee from a food truck for the better part of a decade. But it was really the last three years that it’s taken shape.

Now, Mildon, the owner of White Pine Coffee, expects to start serving coffee and more soon, potentially within a few weeks. Mildon has always been drawn to white pine trees. It was the tree she and Ben planted together for their wedding, and her choice of business name is a reference to that and her love of those trees.

This new endeavor has allowed her to combine her enjoyment of coffee and people.
